White Fruit Cake

Note at top: the authors of this recipe seem to be Mrs. Potter “Zella Mal” and Barbara Colbim, but I could be reading that wrong

  • 3 lbs. walnuts in hull
  • 2 lbs. pecans in hull
  • 1 box white raisins
  • 2 large cans angle cans coconut 
  • 2 cans Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 large box vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 lbs. red candied cherries
  • 1/2 lbs. green candied cherries
  • 1 container candied pineapple

Mix milk & crumbled waffers let stand 30 minutes. Then mix all other ingredients with hands. Pack into container. (Can be frozen)

A few notes: I believe this has to be cooked. Most recipes indicate about 325 degrees F for about an hour. Also, the cans of coconut I believe must refer to flaked coconut, like this:
